When I first saw this film many years ago I remember finding it difficult to follow at certain moments. Here I tried to keep the story to its basics: a mutiny, sympathetic civilians, oppression, and a final confrontation. Keeping this edit under 5 minutes was not easy and I was forced to cut many scenes, and many well-known images, which in turn forced me to find new ways to transition between different chapters of the film.
